Everything you need to be able to knit your own socks.
Gemma guides you through all the stages of knitting a top down sock, providing trouble shooting tips and tricks along the way to help you avoid common issues.
By the end of the day you'll have created your own mini sock and go away furnished with a comprehensive pattern to start your first functional pair.

Yarn included, needles can be purchased.
You will need:
3.5mm circular needle with an 80cm cable, or 3.5mm DPNS
At least 50g of double knitting weight yarn
To be able to knit and purl, to have some experience knitting in-the-round.

The course starts at 10am and ends at 4pm, with a break for lunch. Hot and cold drinks and biscuits will be provided throughout the day but you will need to bring lunch with you, or visit one of the fantastic local cafes for lunch.

We have a fully accessible shop and bathroom although large wheelchairs may find the corridor to the bathroom tricky - please call ahead to discuss your requirements if need be.

A maximum of 5 places are available on this course, to ensure everyone gets the support and tuition time they need.
