Learn to Knit Socks, Thursday, September 18, 25, October 2, 5:30-7:00 pm
This 3-session class to be held September 18, 25, October 2, 5:30-7:00 pm will teach you the foundation skills to become a sock knitter. Learn the basic "recipe" for knitted socks using the magic-loop method. During this class you will learn the "vanilla" sock pattern which used top-down construction, with a heel flap and gusset, and kitchener-stitched toes.
Cost: $70 for three sessions
Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
Experience Required: Cast-on, knit and purl, knit in the round and flat
Special Techniques: Ribbing, short rows, picking up stitches, basic decreases, kitchener stitch
Materials Provided: Knitting needles, a ball of yarn and notions are included in the class fee.
