Learn to Grow: Soils, Soil Sampling & Fertilizers
About this Event
To plants the soil is EVERYTHING. Discussions will include soil composition and structure; the importance of pH and how to adjust it; how to improve your soil; soil nutrition; where, when and how to take soil samples; reading soil test reports; fertilizer types; synthetic versus natural fertilizers; and how to read a fertilizer label. Weather permitting, there will be a soil sampling demonstration.
