Learn How to Save a Life: Free AED Training Session
Knowing how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) can save a life. Georgetown Village welcomes the community to join us for a AED training session on March 25th at 3 p.m. at the Fillmore School building to learn how to use this vital medical device. AED devices are commonly found in public spaces, so knowing how to use one means you’ll be prepared to step in when it matters most. You’ll gain the confidence to respond quickly and effectively in a cardiac emergency. No prior experience is needed. Join us to build practical knowledge that could make a life-saving difference.
This event is free and open to the public, so please invite your friends and neighbors. Many thanks to the DC Fire Department and Hands-on-Heart program for making this training possible and providing Georgetown Village with an AED machine.
If you have questions, please contact the Georgetown Village office at 202-999-8988.
