Portrait Signs: A Tour in ASL
About this Event

Please join us for Portrait Signs, a deaf-led tour in American Sign Language. Tours typically take place twice a month and explore a variety of topics related to portraiture, history and biography, from temporary exhibitions to the permanent collection. Upcoming tour dates and details are below. Tour topics and additional dates will be posted as they are finalized.

September 21, 5 - 6 pm -- This tour will be virtual and include English interpretation; the Zoom link will be emailed the day before.

- Topic: Historical figures associated with Deaf history, including Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison, and Juliette Gordon Lowe.

September 23, noon - 1 pm -- This tour will be on site and in ASL only; please meet the docent in the G Street lobby.
