Learn to Knit Socks!

Curious about knitting socks but not sure where to start? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sock knitting while making a miniature sock from start to finish.

We’ll explore the key techniques used in sock construction, including working in the round with double pointed needles, shaping the heel and creating the toe. By the end of the class, you’ll have a tiny finished sock and a better understanding of how to take these skills and make a full-size pair. We'll also discuss other sock knitting needle techniques to try later on such as Magic Loop with a long circular and Flexi Flip style needles.

Perfect for: Knitters who are comfortable with the basics of knitting (casting on, knit & purl stitches) and ready to try something new.
