As Much by Art as Strength presents ESCAPE.
Come celebrate ESCAPE, an award-winning documentary exploring an international cross country relay and how it all started. This is more than just a screening. We’ll look back at the ESCAPEs that brought us here, revisiting moments and stories from past journeys before arriving in Cape Town—and offering a glimpse of where we’ll be headed next.
This is a moment to meet the people we move with, the communities we encounter and the connections we make along the way, which ultimately shape who we are.
Stay after the film for an intimate panel discussion with the production team, sharing stories from behind the scenes and exploring why ESCAPE has always been about more than just an event—it’s a journey rooted in purpose, intention and genuine connection.
The bar at Northern Contemporary Gallery at 420 Roncesvalles Avenue just up the street will be open before and after the screening from 12pm to 2am, so come grab a drink, connect with the community and hang with us on either side of the film.
The first 60 people through the theatre doors will receive a limited ESCAPE bandana, with some other limited pieces making their way into the room throughout the night.
Come early, stay late.
Most importantly, a portion of every ticket sold will go back to Run4Schools , continuing an integral relationship that became part of the ESCAPE journey in South Africa.
