EIF 2026: MODERN GRID INNOVATION EXCHANGE

Join Canada’s leading utilities and solution providers on October 19 in Toronto for a private, peer-led workshop to explore your progress on grid modernization. Share what’s working, and discover new opportunities, all before CanREA’s Electricity Transformation Canada (ETC) 2025 event begins.

  • Venue: Automotive Building (Room 201A), adjacent to the Enercare Centre — a confirmed commitment, held in partnership with CanREA and RE+ Events at Electricity Transformation Canada (ETC) 2026


Utilities: The workshop is designed to give utilities safe space to discuss modern grid challenges and opportunities using a structured facilitation toolset. Targeting 15 utilities, this session will support open dialogue on lessons learned, best practices, and preferred partners. ​ SGIN is pleased to offer 10 Free ETC passes available, and discounted tickets to the ETC event (special thanks to CanREA and RE+ Events!).

This will be a deep-dive session designed for utilities to share lessons learned, explore emerging challenges, and exchange strategies for modernizing the grid. During this time we will facilitate a group lessons learned discovery session on topics including DERs, load forecasting, advanced AMI capabilities, Advanced systems: ADMS, SCADA, VPP, DERMS, and more.
