It is a science of mind, body, soul & senses. Ayurveda is based on the individual & nature we humans are part of.
With Ayurveda, one discovers their body constitution & what may be out of imbalance causing issues in one’s body & life.
Ayurveda works WITH Western medicine/science, offering suggestions and lifestyle changes.
The number one precept of Ayurveda is “Food is Medicine”! We are truly what we eat!
It integrates body, mind & spirit using holistic approaches.
Learn some basics about Ayurveda, such as Prakriti, Vikriti, and dosha. Discover your dosha (body constitution) and what that means. Discussion will include Ayurveda times and seasons and how this affects one’s body constitution. Tri-doshic (good for all doshas) and dinacharya (daily self-care) practices/routine ideas will also be discussed.
This workshop is for everyone, CEUs available yoga instructors who attend.
Please bring a yoga mat as we will practice some seasonal balancing Ayurvedic yoga poses.
Everyone who attends may sign up for an individual Ayurvedic consultation with Nicole at the reduced rate of $90 (regularly $110).
The cost is $50.00. Must register by March 20th ; a minimum of 5 is required.
