We’re excited to officially welcome and announce our second LeafBreak™ event, launching right here in Magnolia, TX. This is something new we’ve been thoughtfully building for our plant community, and we’re thrilled to finally bring it to life.
Our LeafBreak™ will be held at Higher Grounds Coffee on 1488 in Old Magnolia. LeafBreak™ is designed to be a relaxed, weekend pause — a space to enjoy coffee, talk plants, ask questions, share local tips, and connect with others who are navigating everything from indoor seedlings and houseplants to outdoor gardens and unpredictable Texas weather.
What is LeafBreak™?
LeafBreak™ is a designed for people who love plants, books, and coffee. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to slow down, enjoy a warm drink, and connect with others through conversation, learning, and quiet moments of reading.
Whether you’re caring for houseplants, starting seeds, navigating Texas’ unpredictable weather, or simply looking for a peaceful place to read, LeafBreak™ invites you to take a break and be present. Bring a plant to talk about, a book you’re currently reading, or one you’d like to trade — or just come as you are.
This is not a class or a lecture. It’s a community-centered gathering where beginners and experienced growers, readers and learners, can share knowledge, ask questions, and support one another at their own pace.
LeafBreak™ is about growth — in plants, in learning, and in community.
Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your love for plants. A small, casual plant swap may naturally happen, but it’s not required — the focus is connection and support at all LeafBreak™ meet-ups.
Parking note: overflow parking is permitted in the grass lot adjacent to the drive-thru on the west side of the building. The official address is:
