Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) and Replacement Plan Training

The Nebraska Section American Water Works Association, the Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment and the Midwest Assistance Program is providing the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) and Replacement Plan Training FREE of charge as the Pre-Conference training associated with the 2026 APWA, AWWA, NWEA SWANA, Joint Fall Conference at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney, NE.
Understanding the requirements of the LCRI and developing a thorough LSLR Plan are essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and effectively planning for lead service line replacement. This interactive, hands-on workshop will guide attendees through the key elements of an LSLR Plan, allowing participants to work through the plan together as a class.
Participants will be provided with their updated inventories which have been converted to comply with requirements for LCRI and will be used in the development of replacement plans. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop to participate in the exercises; laptops will also be available upon request.
Offers 6 CEUs for water operator licenses I-IV.
The all day workshop is Monday November 2, 2026 beginning with registration at 8:00 am and promptly begin at 8:30 am. Lunch is provided.
Workshop is approved by Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment (NDWEE) for 6.0 CEU hours for water operator licenses I-IVs!
