LCW Adventure Day!

Join Sierra Nevada Alliance and Luis Rubio on this day of adventure in celebration of Latino Conservation Week!
Participants in this bilingual event can expect a day full of adventure, learning, and community. Scheduled activities for the day include rafting, a picnic, and a guided hike around Donner Lake. Are you a first-time rafter!? No problem! Experienced staff will guide the experience. Expect to raft for 45-60 minutes while learning about the history of Donner Lake Memorial State Park and its importance to California and U.S. history. During the guided hike, you will travel on a relatively flat path around the lake, learning about historical uses of native plants, trees, and mushrooms, or you can remain at the picnic area for community-building games and activities.
This is a free, family-friendly event meant to combine community, adventure, and education! Lunch will be provided. Parking will be free. Tickets are very limited, so please only reserve if you are definitely joining us (one ticket per person). Waivers must be signed on the day of the event to participate.
