LCV Kitchen Series: Egg Preparation
About this Event
The egg is the most cooked ingredient in the world and one of the most frequently cooked badly. This class fixes that.
You will work through three techniques that every home cook should have: a perfectly poached egg and hollandaise for Eggs Benedict, a classic rolled omelette with the timing and heat control that makes the difference, and shakshuka, where eggs are poached in a spiced tomato sauce and the whole dish comes together in one pan.
Led by an LCV chef instructor in a professional kitchen. Each technique is distinct, each one is immediately useful, and all three are things you will make again. Bring a container for anything you do not finish on the spot. Welcome drink included. Apron to take home.
