We invite you to join our 51st annual spring chorus!This spring we will perform two special concerts in collaboration with the William Baker Festival Singers in addition to our annual spring concert. The concerts will feature challenging yet accessible pieces that will satisfy your desire to perform fine choral music. The performances will include works by J.S. Bach, William Mathias, Mark Hayes, Jacob Narverud, and LCC's own Dr. Geoffrey Wilcken, just to mention a few.
The Lawrence Civic Choir, a non-profit organization formed in 1975, welcomes area singers who love to perform serious, four-part choral music under professional direction. There are no formal auditions, but singers must be able to read music and sing tunefully.
REHEARSALS
Mondays, 7–9:00 p.m., beginning January 19

CONCERTS
Saturday evening, May 2 (Topeka)
Sunday afternoon, May 3 (Kansas City)
Saturday evening, May 9 (Lawrence)
REGISTRATION
Begins Jan. 19 and remains open through Feb. 2. Please arrive 6–6:45 p.m. to complete registration and obtain sheet music. Registration may be submitted and paid online here, or in-person.
Tuition: $80* non-students | $50* students (w/valid student ID)
*Includes $20 refundable deposit upon return of loaned sheet music.
Financial assistance for tuition is available; please inquire in-person at registration.
Concert Attire: Members must own/purchase either the current designated dress (style adopted in 2022), or own/purchase a tuxedo that conforms with requirements.
