Step into the heart of lavender season and experience the rhythm of harvest!
This full-day bootcamp is designed for those who want more than a class; it’s a hands-on, in-field experience where you’ll learn the art and timing of harvesting lavender at its peak, guided by our Agriculture Director and farm team.
You’ll begin with a guided walk through the fields to understand how we determine when lavender is ready to harvest, followed by an in-depth demonstration covering cutting techniques, bundle sizing, and how intended use, dried, culinary, or distillation, impacts how and when lavender is harvested.
Then it’s your turn!
Spend the day working alongside our team, harvesting lavender directly from the fields and gaining real, practical experience you can take home to your own garden.
Midday, enjoy a relaxed lunch featuring deli sandwiches from a local artisan, followed by a lavender-inspired snack break with lavender lemonade fizz and lavender shortbread cookies.
You’ll finish the day by cutting and preparing your own fresh lavender bundle to take home, along with a deeper understanding of the harvest process and a new appreciation for the work behind every stem.
This experience includes a combination of walking and guided travel across the farm by golf cart throughout the harvest areas.
