The Southeast DeKalb Driving tour, built by the DeKalb History Center and funded by Georgia Humanities aims to connect the stories of Southeast DeKalb County. This digital tour will feature photos, and audio from our vast collection of Oral Histories to help tell the story of Southeast DeKalb. This driving tour of Southeast DeKalb County will uncover stories, sites, and memories of predominantly the Black experience in Southeast DeKalb County. We are partnering with the DeKalb Library system to help share and launch the tour April 11, 2026.This program is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
