Latin Dance Pool Party

Salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton by the pool. Live DJ, dance lesson, and drink specials at The Sarasota Modern. 2nd Sundays, 4-7pm.
About this Event

Once a month, the pool at The Sarasota Modern turns into the best dance floor in town. Salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, a DJ keeping the music going all afternoon, and a crowd that's there to have a good time. If you want a quick lesson before the open dancing starts, a professional instructor's got you covered. If not, just show up and figure it out as you go.

Grab a drink from the poolside bar, find a spot on the dance floor, or just hang back and take it in. People come solo, come with friends, come as couples, it doesn't matter. By the time the afternoon's in full swing, the whole pool deck feels like one big party.

Whether you grew up dancing salsa or you've never tried it, come see what the hype is about.
