About this Event
John Heffron Live — A Night of Comedy You Don’t Want to Miss!
Get ready for a night of big laughs with John Heffron, the award-winning comedian and Season 2 winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing!
Headliner: John Heffron
John Heffron has spent more than 37 years making audiences laugh about the things they thought only happened to them.
He’s a bestselling author — Freshman Class of Old Age, the novel The Maskers, and severaldevotionals — a longtime presence on late-night television, and the voice behind comedy albumsand specials streamed in the billions. (He also won NBC’s Last Comic Standing. That was a fewsocks ago.)
These days his focus is the stretch of life nobody warns you about — the careers that didn’t go asplanned, the aging parents, the grown kids, the back that goes out reaching for a sock. It’s the ideabehind Old Age University, his running take on the “Freshman Class of Old Age”: everyonearriving at this stage at the same time, nobody handed a syllabus, all of us pretending we knowwhat we’re doing.
He doesn’t make fun of people. He finds the humor in what they have in common — the momentsthat make a room laugh because everyone in it has been there.
What audiences know him for is something that’s become rare: a show everyone can actually enjoytogether. No politics, no culture wars, nobody in the front row getting humiliated. Just an honestlook at life from someone living through the same stuff as the people in the seats.
Theater, club, fundraiser, or corporate event, the goal’s the same — give people a chance to laugh, catch their breath, and leave a little lighter than they came in.
Because most people aren’t looking for a wild night out anymore. They’re looking for a good one.And that’s what John Heffron delivers.
