Give back to your community and enjoy the day with muskoxen, reindeer, and wood bison at the Large Animal Research Station!
Join us on Saturday, September 12 for our annual Locals Day event. The cost of admission is 3 non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
There will be tour guides throughout the property to share information and answer questions about the animals at LARS. The gift shop will be open for last-chance summer season shopping. Local food trucks will be on site with food available for purchase.
Support LARS by purchasing raffle tickets at the event and have a chance to win either a handknit qiviut smoke ring or 2 skeins of qiviut yarn. Tickets will be sold at LARS from 8/24-9/12 and the winning tickets will be drawn at 4pm at Locals Day on 9/12. Alaska Gaming Permit #154
