Together with writers, artists, physicists and philosophers from Sweden and France, Lars Fredrikson specialists Jonas (J) Magnusson and Léa Dreyer will present and discuss the different phases and explorations in the singular trajectory of the artist.
Lars Fredrikson’s work ranges from paintings and inox sculptures, to book-works and “fax-drawings”; from engravings and “dynamic structures”, to video-works and sound- works; from lumino-kinetic works and translations, to works on virtual spaces and radioactivity. During this two-day event, Fredrikson’s uncompromising and multifaced artistic practices will be approached and reflected on from a large variety of perspectives. Fredrikson’s work will also be present through commented visual examples and sound samples.
