About this Event
ABOUT
Our Langara College Basketball Academy is a summer training program designed specifically for high school boys looking to elevate their game in a focused, competitive environment.
Held throughout the summer, the academy emphasizes well-rounded player development, with Tuesday and Thursday sessions dedicated to improving individual skills on both offense and defense, along with targeted plyometric training to enhance athleticism, explosiveness, and overall performance.
On Wednesdays, athletes will be introduced to and trained in the core concepts used by our men’s basketball program, helping them develop a deeper understanding of team systems, decision-making, and game strategy.
New this year, we’ve added a fourth session on Friday mornings focused on high-volume shooting and game-speed conditioning, with an emphasis on perimeter scoring, shot consistency, and the stamina needed to perform under pressure—especially valuable for guards and wings looking to separate themselves. This structured approach ensures players build both their individual abilities and their IQ of the game.

WHEN
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays
- Times: Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays - 9AM to 12PM
- Times: Wednesdays - 4:30PM to 6:30PM
- Week 1 - July 14 to 17
- Week 2 - July 21 to 24
- Week 3 - July 28 to 31
- Week 4 - August 4 to 7
- Week 5 - August 11 to 14
- Week 6 - August 18 to 21
All programs will be led by Langara Falcons Head Coach Cassidy Kannemeyer, supported by student athletes from the Men's Basketball program.
COST
- Full Summer - $1,500 + Tax
- Half Summer - $750 + Tax
- Weekly - $250 + Tax
Participants purchasing the Half Summer / Weekly registration will coordinate with Coach Kannemeyer regarding attendance.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be determined and processed on a case by case basis. Any refunds provided will be subject to Eventbrite Administration Fees.
