About this Event
Ethọ́s Lab offers a range of programs for youth in grades 5–12 that support its mission to empower young people to transform their communities and reshape the culture of innovation through unique equity-grounded STEAM learning.
Delivered through our Studio and Camp formats, we invite participants to dive deep into creative and curious learning.
It’s a fun, engaging way for youth to explore real-world topics and build future-ready skills in a supportive community.
Camp dates and times vary by program.

Week 1 | July 6 – 10, 2026| Sport Conditioning Camp | Grades 8-12
Info: Led by former varsity athletes, this dynamic program blends science and sports, culminating in a special field trip to top biomechanics labs that provides hands-on insight into sports science.

Week 2 | July 13 – 17, 2026 | AI Future Intensive [Cohort A]| Grades 8-12
Info: Youth will explore culturally grounded design-based learning while ethically prototyping with AI for community impact through the Ubuntu Innovation approach. The camp includes workshops, a mini design jam, an interactive field component, and a micro-showcase to build confidence and readiness.

Week 3 | July 20 – 24, 2026 | Gaming Summer Camp | Grades 5 – 7
Info: Youth are introduced to the basics of the Unity game engine and Rive.app, focusing on interactive media and digital storytelling. Participants will explore pathways to post-secondary education and careers in tech through engaging workshops and a field trip to EA Games.

July 20 – 24, 2026 | AI Future Summer Intensive [Cohort B] | Grades 8 – 12

Week 4 | July 27 – 31, 2026 | Girls’ Gaming Summer Camp | Grades 5 – 7
Info: Youth are introduced to the basics of the Unity game engine and Rive.app, focusing on interactive media and digital storytelling. Participants will explore pathways to post-secondary education and careers in tech through engaging workshops and a field trips to EA Games.
*All cis and trans girls, genderqueer or non-binary people, and those who identify as other gender minorities are welcome!

July 27 – 31, 2026 | Atlanthos: Dice & Design | Grades 5 – 7
Info: In this story-driven and gamified camp, youth will use Procreate, Cricut, 3D Printing, and a CnC Machine to design and model fantasy characters, and the second half using those characters as part of an immersive tabletop role-playing game. Youth will be provided with their own dice set, character folder, as well as all materials needed to craft their camp adventure.

Week 2 | August 10 – 14, 2026 | Debate Camp | Grades 5 – 7
Info: Debate Camp gives youth a stage to project their voices.
Students will build confidence in public speaking, argumentation, logic, and in challenging ideas respectfully. Each class will include games, short workshops, team activities, and lots of chances to practice these new skills in a safe and welcoming environment.

Info: Discover a new way to experience math through hands-on projects, interactive technology, movement, and creative challenges designed especially for students who may feel unsure about math. Build, experiment, collaborate, and see geometric ideas come to life in ways that finally make sense.
