Landscaping with Orchids with instructor Rich Ackerman of Broward Native Orchids
Come learn how to beautify your yard by incorporating orchids in your landscape. During our break and after class, you can visit Sandi Jones’s mobile orchid and plant emporium trailer which will be stationed in the parking lot of Flamingo Gardens, to purchase any supplies you may need.
Rich Ackerman caught the orchid bug attending the World Orchid Conference in Miami in 2008. Rich works closely with UF/IFAS Extension, Broward County, where he is leader of the Broward County Native Orchid Project. He is the former President of the Ft. Lauderdale Orchid Society.
