2025 SUSTAINABLE URBAN FOOD PRODUCTION SHORT-COURSE

This comprehensive UF/IFAS Extension program on sustainable urban food production is geared for all audiences including homeowners, school teachers, community gardeners, urban farmers, and entrepreneurs interested in this developing industry. Participants will gain a better understanding of social, environmental benefits of urban agriculture, acquire knowledge and adopt management practices to start, expand and empower their operations of local food production in urban settings. Participants will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and a certification after completion of this short-course.

This short-course will be delivered in-person and online spread out over 6 days, on Mondays starting October 6, 2025. All online participants will receive the same set of training and course materials. Registration: $175 for 6 in-person classes or $150 for 6 live streaming classes online.
