Landscapes of Heart and Color

Landscapes of Heart and Color, a seven-part art workshop series — led by professional painter and art educator Paula Harrison.

Running from January 9th to April 10th, classes are held twice a month on Thursdays. Each session invites you to explore your creative potential through guided, reflective painting practices.

About the Instructor: Paula Harrison is a professional painter and part-time art teacher. She loves to create images because it is a way to deepen awareness and express the amazing experience of living in the world. Do you love to mess around with paints? To experiment and take risks? Or want to be able to take risks?? Come to a class and discover what the blank canvas holds for you!

Workshop Details:

• Dates: January 9th - April 10th: 1/9, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/10
• Time: 10 AM - Noon
• Location: Petrichor Collective Studios
• Class Length: 2 hours per session
• Series Length: 7 sessions (Cost includes all seven sessions)

What You’ll Experience:

• Explore a range of artists' paintings and styles to get a feel for what you would like to include in your own work.
• Learn to trust your artistic instincts in a supportive environment using acrylic paint.
• Enjoy hands-on guidance for color mixing and options for applying paint with thoughtful prompts from Paula.
• Discover how to create colors that work together and make your image come alive.
