The highly anticipated, free Poudre Pub Talk on the Poudre River Trail History and Completion Update will be held on Thursday, January 9 at 6pm at New Belgium Brewing - Fort Collins. Zac Wiebe, Planning and Natural Resource Specialist with Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, will provide a completion update on the Poudre River Trail. When will we be able to ride all the way from Fort Collins to Greeley? Join us to find out!
George Moncaster, researcher at Colorado State University, will provide some history of the Poudre River Trail including key moments, figures, and efforts that made the trail a reality. The PRT has been conceived of since the early 1970s in various forms, and the values that originally guided planners continue to be redefined in the contemporary period.
This Giveaway has a twist! We will be supporting Blue Ridge National Heritage Area’s recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene through their Heritage Hearth Charity Drive: https://www.blueridgeheritage.com/heritage-hearth-a-handmade-charity-drive/
We will be collecting new hats, scarves, cowls, gloves, mittens and cash donations. Every donated item or cash donation offers you a chance to enter that night’s giveaways. Blue Ridge NHA will work with organizations to distribute items to impacted communities.
This is expected to be a heavily attended event. Please RSVP today: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/KKTEaid891JscvBFs3gKXw
