Landscape Design Workshop
About this Event
This is a 2 hour field lab focusing on planning REAP's bioswales!
Have you ever wondered how to go from site visit to site design? Join Suraya, a recent landscape architecture Berkeley graduate, to learn some basics of landscape design. This lesson will explain the steps of site analysis needed to begin the landscape design process. Bring a notebook, pencil, and measuring tape (if you have one).
We'll be gathering in the shade with the rest of the Sunday volunteers for lunch together afterward. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water. Your welcome to keep hanging out or helping out for REAP's Open House until 5pm.
What to bring:
- Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty
- A water bottle!
- Sun protection
- Your lunch to enjoy after the session
- A great attitude!
All ages are welcome! Children should be accompanied by an adult.
One thing we ask prior to visiting is filling out our WAIVER.
