Imperial World School warmly invites theatre groups from around the world to participate in the 5th Lalabala Kathmandu International Children’s Theatre Festival 2025. This festival is a unique platform that brings together young performers, educators, and artists to celebrate creativity, cultural diversity, and the transformative power of theatre.

The Lalabala Festival was launched with the vision of creating a global meeting point for children’s theatre. Over the years, it has grown into one of South Asia’s most vibrant cultural exchanges, attracting theatre groups from across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
In our previous four editions, groups from Australia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Indonesia, Poland, and France have participated. Each year, children and adults alike have been inspired by the artistic variety and storytelling shared on stage.
