With deep respect for our friends, colleagues and community in Nepal, we have made the decision to postpone the Newday Summit in Kathmandu, originally planned for November 4th and 5th 2025.
This decision has not been taken lightly. It comes after thoughtful discussions with our Nepal-based partners and a careful consideration of the current political environment which has been predicated to uncertain till the end of this year. Above all, our priority is the wellbeing, safety, and capacity of those who help us bring Newday to life.
We remain committed to holding the Summit in Nepal, a country that continues to inspire us with its beauty, resilience and generosity of spirit. We will now look to 2026 as the right time to gather in Kathmandu and create an even more impactful and meaningful experience together.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shown excitement and support for this journey. We trust that, in the right timing, the Summit will unfold in a way that honours both the Nepali community and the greater good we seek to serve.
Until then, our thoughts remain with Nepal, and we look forward to the day we can gather there in person to learn, connect and lead together.
