About this Event
How well do you know your wines???
Think you can tell a Chardonnay from a Riesling? A Cabernet from a Sangiovese? Put your palate to the test in the LMC Cork Master blind tasting competition!
Contestants will sample four white and four red wines from classic regions around the world. Your challenge: correctly identify each grape variety—and for bonus tie-breaker points, name the country of origin.
The taster with the most correct varietals will be crowned the Cork Master Champion!
Possible Varietals:
- Whites: Albariño, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc
- Reds: Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Bordeaux Blend, Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Syrah/Shiraz, Tempranillo
Possible Countries:
Australia, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, USA
