This class is a transformative, no-holds-barred look at women’s health. Covering essential topics like real anatomy, relative energy deficiency in sport (REDs) for adolescents, and conservative management of common women’s health conditions affecting young girls through their child bearing years, this course provides an empowering foundation for navigating the challenges of womanhood. No topic is off-limits, as we tackle these crucial issues head-on, offering a holistic approach to health and wellness. You’ll leave feeling informed, confident, and equipped to make healthy choices for your body, mind, and child’s future. We understand that so many issues young women face are generational, leaving mother’s to often choose a similar course of action for their daughter as they have for themselves doing what you know is best. However, options for the management of many health conditions have changed drastically over the years and we want you, mom and daughter, to understand all the options out there to help you make the decision you feel best suited for yourself and your family.
Cost: $15 for Single Ticket, $25 for Mom/Daughter Duo.

And just so you can feel confident in your decision to attend, here is a deeper look specifically at what we will be covering and format.
1. The Normal: Anatomy and Function of the Female Reproductive System. To understand the not normal, we must first learn how things should function and how our female bodies are set up for function.
2. The Not So Normal: Irregular/painful periods, incontinence in athletes, PCOS concerns, hormonal imbalance, signs and symptoms you should be concerned about as well as those not to be concerned about.
3. We are going to split into small groups with daughters joining our pelvic health team and the moms joining Amanda Allmaras for deep dives into topics focused on each group. For the teens, we are talking diet, relative energy deficiency and the importance of adequate nutrition for health and function. We will also touch on sleep hygiene and its implications to overall health and wellness. Moms, this is a treat for you. The discussion of birth control. We are not here to discuss its right or wrong but we are going to talk about it. Whether used for contraceptive concerns or due to health conditions, we want you to be well informed about overall effects as well as all the options available for your desired intention. Parenting is HARD, and we want our moms to be so well educated and informed on their own health as well as the health of their daughter or daughters.
4. QA: we are going to have a question/answer section where you drive the ship on what topics we discuss next.
