Lab Skills for New Perfumers (in person)
About this Event
For people who have started (or plan to start) a new perfume practice, IAO founder Saskia Wilson-Brown systematically covers the basics for a healthy and productive at-home perfume studio.
Over the course of an information rich few hours, we will cover:
+ An overview of common carriers and diluents
+ Setting up your organ
+ Materials and lab safety
+ Making solutions by weight (scale), and by volume (drops)
+ How to handle tricky materials
+ How to track formulas
There will be plenty of time for questions, and hands-on demonstration.
