OUSS La tecnica presents a very special edition on June 5th!!Not only do we have *Jayne Turpin* teaching salsa footwork and styling, but we ALSO have a *FREE* social at the Oxford Retreat afterwards, co-hosted with ¡Muévete! (your usual Wednesday night host)!
Known for her classy yet sassy approach, Jayne is one of the most stylish dancers on the Scene. After studying dance from a young age she discovered Salsa in her teens and never looked back. She's now one of the top instructors in the UK, teaching weekly with LatinMotion in Birmingham, plus many events & festivals all over the UK.
Jayne’s style is a rich fusion of New York & Cuban underpinned by solid technique. She brings energy & personality to the dance floor, plus her warm & friendly approach has proved a winning combination in classes.
This is a footwork and styling workshop suitable for both leads and follows and open to anyone who wants to style elegantly on the dance floor!
Following the workshop, and open to EVERYONE, we will have a free salsa and bachata social at the Oxford Retreat (1 min walk away) until midnight with DJs Julian Summers, and Gwyneth Anne.
If that's enough, we'll join the reggaeton party for the remainder of the night and you can dance until your socks drop off!
