Join us for a discussion with Cenk Uygur, co-founder of The Young Turks, about contemporary American politics and foreign policy.
About this Event

Cenk Uygur is a Turkish-American left-wing political activist, media host, and attorney. He is the co-creator of The Young Turks, a progressive and a left-wing populist sociopolitical news and commentary program. The Young Turks is the secodn longest-running online news and politics show and is widely considered to be one of the forerunners of independent media in the United States.

Cenk is known for his incisive anti-establishment, left-wing, and populist political commentary and activism. He has competed in congressional elections in the United States and was briefly a candidate for U.S. President in 2023; he stated that his goal was to increase pressure on the incumbent president, Joe Biden, to exit the race.

Cenk will join us to discuss contemporary American politics in the age of Trump, with a focus on U.S. foreign policy and the Middle East.
