Kia ora koutou katoa, we're thrilled to announce our first ever Kōanga Māori Market, a first for the Arts Village!
📅 Rāhoroi, 24 Oketopa 2026 (Saturday 24th October 2026)
🕘 9am – 2pm
📍 The Arts Village, 1240 Hinemaru Street, Rotorua
He kaupapa whakanui i te toi Māori (a kaupapa celebrating Māori art and creativity), with a curated market across the Village featuring:
Ngā kaitoi (exhibiting artists) — lineup to be released closer to the day, so watch this space!
Kai from local vendors
Puoro from local musicians
He rā mō te whānau katoa — it's a Whānau Day too, with activities for tamariki and the whole family throughout the morning
Nau mai whakapā mai, come along to shop, kai, listen to live music, and soak up the wairua of Kōanga (spring) with us.
