Launching across Rotorua and Brisbane, 8TH WONDER is a new boutique summer festival bringing together leading artists from across Aotearoa, Australia and the wider Pacific-influenced music world. Built around reggae, roots, soul, dub, R&B, hip-hop, Māori and Pasifika music, and contemporary Indigenous sounds, 8TH WONDER is designed as a celebration of music, culture, place and connection.
The Rotorua lineup features an eclectic mix of artists combining to create an unmissable day of music, including:
L.A.B, Te Wehi, Sir Dave Dobbyn, Aaradhna, Betty-Anne, Che Fu & The Kratez, Corrella, The Elovaters (USA), Ladi6, Son & Water

Taking place at the iconic Village Green in Rotorua, on the shores of Lake Rotorua and at the foot of Eat Street, 8TH WONDER will showcase one of Aotearoa’s most loved destinations alongside some of the best music from Aotearoa and beyond.
Headlined by L.A.B, the 8TH WONDER Rotorua lineup celebrates the strength and depth of New Zealand music across generations. From legendary artists who have helped shape the nation’s sound to today’s biggest names and tomorrow’s rising stars, the festival brings together an extraordinary collection of talent. With one Sir and two Members of the New Zealand Order of Merit among the artists, 8TH WONDER features a lineup of musicians who have dedicated their lives to sharing New Zealand music with audiences around the world.
Alongside the music, 8TH WONDER will expand the festival experience with a range of food vendors, stalls and installations along the boardwalk beside Lake Rotorua. The team at Little Big Events and Lucky Star will help bring together local food vendors and stallholders from across the Bay of Plenty, creating a full summer festival day out for fans travelling from near and far.
