After starting stand-up comedy over a decade ago at an open mic right here in Halifax, Kyle Hickey has grown into one of the most respected and versatile comedians in the country. He’s appeared at major festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival, CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival, and JFL42 in Toronto, and has built an impressive résumé as a writer and actor with roles on YTV and MTV.
Kyle has released two live comedy albums — Experimental Phase and The Fresh Prince of Donair — both of which can be heard in regular rotation on SiriusXM’s Canada Laughs (Channel 168), as well as on iTunes and Spotify. Known for his sharp writing, relatable storytelling, and effortless stage presence, Kyle delivers stand-up that’s smart, funny, and unmistakably East Coast.
