NS Battletech and HFX Games present our first ever BattleTech Classic: Grinder event!What is a Grinder?
This is a free event open to players of all skill levels and is an excellent chance for anyone curious to see the game in action first hand. Participants may join and drop out at anytime they like throughout the day, so no worries if time's tight.
How does it work?
Each player selects a single mech from the provided pool and jumps into the action! As players fight it out Free-For-All style, you will earn points which are used to get a new (bigger) Mech when there's is destroyed. With a new Mech selected, it's back at it on the next turn!
What do I need to bring?
Just your delightful self and an interest in
big stompy robots! Models, Dice, and other materials will be available for anyone that stops by (Those of you who are superstitious may of course bring your own dice).
Anything else?
We just ask players keep in mind that this is a free, casual event for players of all skill ranges. There is no "winner" for this event and no prizes this time, though there will be for other events coming later, so competitive players keep an eye out.
This event will also be using the BattleTech Classic ruleset. Events for the BattleTech: Alphastrike format are in the works!
