Kvintet KamBrass, dobitniki prve nagrade Mednarodnega tekmovanja Festivala Ljubljana 2025, se predstavlja s programom, posvečenim eni najstarejših evropskih glasbenih tem, La Folíi. Program sledi njenim preobrazbam od renesančnega plesa prek baročnih variacij do sodobnih interpretacij. Osrednje mesto zavzema ciklus Foliations Jana Bacha, ki povezuje posamezne slogovne postaje, večer pa zaokroža praizvedba nove skladbe Garazi Zabalete, napisane posebej za ansambel.-
The KamBrass Quintet, winners of the 2025 Ljubljana Festival International Competition, presents a programme centred on La Folía, one of Europe’s oldest musical themes. Tracing its journey from Renaissance dance through Baroque variation to contemporary expression, the programme is anchored by Jan Bach’s Foliations, which links the stylistic chapters of the evening. The concert concludes with the world premiere of a new work by Garazi Zabaleta, written especially for the ensemble.
