UTC-06:00Location
Downtown Winnipeg | Winnipeg, MB
Join us Wednesday, February 4, from 6:30–9:00 PM for a Yoga and Dance Workshop at Yoga Public, located at 280 Fourth Street in downtown Winnipeg.
The first hour features a grounding kriya led by Mariah. This yoga practice will focus on grounding downward and balancing energies through the lower triangle, offering a steady and supportive foundation for the evening.
During the second hour, DJ Devon Dare will guide the experience through a masterfully crafted audible landscape, supporting embodied movement and a deepened sensory journey beyond the everyday.
Devon Dare will be offering a different soundscape from her usual bass-forward mixes. This set invites listeners into a more expansive, soul-lifting journey, weaving together breaks, ambient house, and liquid drum and bass. Inspired by her own yoga practice, Devon co-created this experience as a space to share music she finds deeply healing, grounding, and energizing—designed to support movement, presence, and connection.
Devon Dare is a DJ, Producer, and Singer from Winnipeg, MB. She found her roots in electronic music collaborating with producers as a vocalist, and has since expanded as a DJ/Producer. Behind the decks, she weaves experimental sounds with a diverse array of genres in the bass spectrum, including 140 bass, half-time, UKG, dubstep, DNB, and trap.
Devon has opened for QUIX, Handsome Tiger, Abstrakt Sonance and Ashez and has been showcased on the Festival stages of The Womp, Bring Your Love, Electric Sky, Emotion, MEME, and Bass In The Bush.
