Above the Venue:
We are at one of Kolkata's new addition. Offbeat is a venue which is an artiste collective and is encouraging more artistes to come together. Has a vibe of passion and creativity throughout the venue.
The venue OFFBEAT is perfectly equipped with a massive pub/workshop space in the day which converts to a party venue in the night. Like every year we set the Social dancing hours bar very very high, this year we are planning to the same. Hoping to get permissions to continue to dance till 3am in the morning if not longer.
The most attractive part of KSW 2024 is what it was for KSW 2023. The bunker style accommodation. Absolutely fantastic, spacious, clean and apt for our requirement. Participants are going to absolutely love this room setting at KSW. The reason we moved to this venue is to be to encourage more people to stay at the venue at a very basic cost.

👉🏼 Incase you are unable to attend the event passes are non refundable

We have 3 levels of workshops at KSW 2024
Beginner,
Open,
Improver,
Intermediate
👉🏼Beginner level classes are the fundamentals and will not require any previous dance experience
👉🏼Open Level Classes are choreography based / planned in a way that anyone can attend with no previous dance experience.
👉🏼For Improver & Intermediate Level Salsa Classes:
We have had a word with the teachers and put together some moves if you are familiar with it(before KSW) will make learning accelerated at KSW 2020!
- IMPROVER LEVEL CLASSES:
🔯 Basic Right Turn & Left Turn Combinations
🔯 Travelling right & left turn
🔯 Open break / Copa / In and Outs
🔯 Simple Rueda Calls: Guapea, Arriba, Abajo, Dame, Dame dos, Adios, Enchufla to name a few
🔯 Understanding of the Son Clave & Rumba Clave Rhythm
🔯 Understanding of the Simple Tumbao Rhythm
🔯 Basic footwork patterns like: Cross Over, Suzie Q, Suzie Q+, Hook Step, Step Tap, Cuban Mambo, Axel Turns to name a few
- FOR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES:
🔯 The Improver requisites along with,
🔯 Leading & following on spot double turns
🔯 Leading & following travelling double turns
🔯 Syncopation in footwork
