Join KSPS and the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) as we commemorate America's 250th anniversary with the America 250 Jubilee, a free community celebration honoring the nation's history, ideals, and the many stories that shape our shared experience.
Enjoy a day filled with live music, local vendors, a beer garden, trivia, and screenings of Ken Burns' highly acclaimed documentary The American Revolution. Panel discussions with community leaders, historians, and subject matter experts will explore the people, events, and lasting impact of the Revolutionary era.
Families and visitors of all ages can enjoy interactive children's activities, including a scavenger hunt and hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity about history and civic engagement. Throughout the day, guests can visit a Revolutionary War reenactment camp featuring historical artifacts and demonstrations, browse a community quilt exhibition inspired by the theme "What Does Liberty Mean to Me?", and connect with local organizations participating in the vendor and community fair.
As part of this special celebration, admission to all MAC exhibits will be free throughout the day, including the museum's America at 250: 25 Decades of Memories exhibition. Visitors can also tour the historic Campbell House free of charge and explore the stories of the Inland Northwest through the museum's galleries and collections.
Whether you're interested in history, community, art, or simply looking for a fun summer outing, the America 250 Jubilee offers something for everyone. Join us as we reflect on the past, engage with the present, and celebrate 250 years of the American story.
