Kristina Barta is one of the most distinctive voices on the contemporary Czech jazz scene. Her playing is often described as passionate, expressive, and highly personal, blending classical training with modern jazz. She has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and Jazzahead!, and her work has gained international recognition.At the concert, she will present original compositions from all of her albums, performed in a trio with Marek Urbánek on drums and Jaromír Honzák on double bass.
Kristina Barta is the author of the albums EMA29, Love and Passion, Endless Questions and Answers, and her latest release Red Landscape. In addition to her performing career, she is the founder of the cultural platform Prague Impro Room, established in 2024.
