Join us in person to celebrate the wonderful festival of Sri Krishna Janmashtami in Hobart! Whether you're new to the festival or have celebrated it for years, everyone is warmly welcome to experience this joyful and spiritually uplifting occasion.

It's going to be a fun-filled evening with devotional music, meditative mantra chanting, vibrant kirtan, traditional dance and cultural performances, an inspiring talk on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, the beautiful Abhishekam (ceremonial bathing of Lord Krishna), Jhulan (Krishna Swinging Ceremony), and lots of joyful festivities. Come immerse yourself in the celebrations and enjoy a delicious FREE vegetarian feast (prasadam) as we honour the divine appearance of Lord Krishna together.

The festival will be held in the Ballroom (First Floor) of Hobart Town Hall.

Seating: This is a traditional floor-seating event. Chairs will be available for guests who require assistance or prefer chair seating.

Footwear: As this is a sacred cultural event, all shoes must be removed before entering the Ballroom. A designated area will be provided outside the hall for footwear.

By Bus: Catch any Metro bus to the Hobart Bus Mall. Hobart Town Hall is just a 2-minute walk away.

By Car: Parking is available at nearby multi-level car parks, such as Market Place Car Park, or on surrounding streets (subject to availability).
