**Parade Route:**
• Starts at Napoleon Avenue & Tchoupitoulas Street
• Proceeds north to St. Charles Avenue (right turn)
• Follows St. Charles around Lee Circle to Canal Street
• Turns right on Canal to Tchoupitoulas
• Turns right on Tchoupitoulas, ending at Poydras Street
**About Krewe of Tucks:**
Founded in 1969 by Loyola University students, the Krewe of Tucks began after two college students failed to become flambeaux carriers and decided to start their own krewe. Named after Friar Tucks, the now-defunct Uptown pub where it all began.
**Parade History:**
• Originally a nighttime parade of pick-up trucks
• Changed to daytime in 1983
• Joined the traditional Uptown route in 1986
• Known for "Animal House" reputation
**Signature Throws:**
• Hand-decorated toilet brushes (most unique throw!)
• Satirical and creative throws
**Notable Features:**
• The King's Throne – a giant toilet float!
• 36 super-sized satirical floats
• 1800 male and female riders
**Past Kings:** Comedic actors John Candy and Eugene Levy
