Krewe De Groove is Denver’s hottest funk unit. Since 2005 when Hurricane Katrina washed Bagus Haig to Denver, the band has been a favorite for local festivals, beer gardens and nightclubs. The Krewe mixes funky catchy originals with a danceable covers from New Orleans, classic 70’s funk and disco, r&b, hip hop, acid jazz and beyond, with music by Billy Preston, Dr John, Doobie Brothers, Parliament, James Brown, Delbert McClinton, Redbone, Rolling Stones, Ray Charles, Maceo Parker, Rebirth Brass Band, and The Meters.
