Kre8 48: Long Live The King Creative Challenge

Kre8 48 is a 48 Hour Creative Competition where filmmakers, designers, dancers, and musicians are challenged to conceptualize, create, and finalize an original work inspired by pop culture in just two days.

In honor of the enduring legacy of The King of Pop, this year’s Long Live The King edition will invite participants to develop projects that creatively pay tribute to the music, style, impact, and cultural influence of him through their respective mediums.

The official competition prompt will be revealed live on:

April 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM

From that moment, participants will have 48 hours to develop their concept from start to finish. All projects must be completed and submitted by:

April 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM

Selected participants will debut their completed work LIVE during the Long Live The King Showcase at Kre8 Spaces on April 25, 2026 in front of a public audience and guest judges.

Participants will compete for over $1,000 in total cash prizes and giveaways, including a $250 cash prize awarded to each category winner.

Winning participants will be recognized during the Live Awards Ceremony following the showcase.
