Krallice
is a metal band formed by New York City musicians Colin Marston, Mick
Barr, Nick McMaster and Lev Weinstein. They play an experimental, highly
technical style of black metal. The band has released eight studio albums and two
EPs, most recently the LP Go Be Forgotten on November 21, 2017. They have
been described as "one of the most interesting, engaging black metal bands to
emerge in recent years" and "one of the most important bands in modern black
metal".
Anachronism
was founded in 2009 and draws inspiration from many different influences, including dissonant, technical and brutal death metal, as well as jazz and progressive music. Bands such as Artificial Brain, Gorguts, Wormed and Hate Eternal are important sources of inspiration for the band. They enjoy working with contrasting riffs that range from pure blasting to ambient passages or groovy drum-and-bass duos. Deep growls and atmospheric riffs create a perfect balance that adds depth to the songs.
