Kombucha Brewing Class at The Depot

Join us at The Depot on December 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 for an immersive, hands-on kombucha brewing class led by Lauren Price, owner and brewer at Mindscape Fermentations. This workshop is designed for beginners and experienced brewers alike and will give you the confidence and clarity to brew kombucha successfully at home.

During this class, you will
• Learn the full process of brewing kombucha from start to finish
• Explore flavoring and carbonation
• Help design a unique kombucha flavor that will later be available for enjoyment at The Depot
• Dive into troubleshooting topics like off flavors, carbonation issues, mold concerns, and more
• Have open Q and A time to go as basic or as advanced as you like
• Go home with your own SCOBY and everything you need to start brewing with confidence

About the instructor
Lauren Price is the owner and brewer at Mindscape Fermentations and has been brewing kombucha for over a decade. She has a talent for taking scientific concepts and making them clear and digestible. Her approach is warm, funny, engaging, and adaptable to all knowledge levels.
