About this Event
Step into the world of pattern, tradition, and creativity in this hands-on Kolam workshop inspired by the kolam motifs featured in Whyishnave Suthagar’s current exhibitionநினைவு | Ninaivu—What We Remember, What We Release at the Art Gallery of Mississauga.
Led by artist Esther Leelavathy Nagarajan, this engaging session introduces participants to Kolam, a traditional South Asian art form in which simple dots are transformed into intricate, meaningful designs. Through a live demonstration and guided instruction, you will learn foundational techniques and create your own kolam artwork to take home.
No experience is required. All materials will be provided.
